New Club in Ottawa
Amanda McLaren then began looking for a networking opportunity to fuel her career, and after a Google search discovered that the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women was hosting its 2011 AGM in Ottawa. She attended, wondering why there was no local branch of the organization.
Less than a year later, Ms. McLaren is the new president of the Ottawa club that will officially launch on May 10 at a ceremonial event in the House of Commons.

BPW Saskatoon Honours Women in the Community

Over the past 12 years, the International Women's Day (IWD) Dinner and Awards hosted by the Business and Professional Women's Club Saskatoon, Canada, has evolved into the province's largest IWD event.
The Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW) Saskatoon is a non-partisan and non-sectarian network of business and professional women. The Saskatoon organization is one of six charter clubs of the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs and belongs to BPW International, an influential organization with membership that spans five continents. BPW's vision is to improve the social and economic status of working women, encourage women to pursue political office and lobby all levels of government to effect positive change.
